Yes a formal copy of the manual for the Lamotte Iodine Test Kit is available. Here is the use information for the 7253-01 Kit.
PROCEDURE
1. Fill test tube (0715) to 25 mL line with sample water.
2. Add 10 drops of Iodine Reagent #1 (7254) and 10 drops of *Iodine Reagent #2 (7255). Cap and swirl to mix. Solution will turn blue.
3. Fill pipet (0352) with Iodine Reagent #3 (6406PS). While gently swirling test tube, add Iodine Reagent #3 one drop at a time, until blue color disappears. Count the number of drops added. Hold pipet vertically.
4. Multiply number of drops used in Step 3 by 2.5. Record as ppm Iodine.
Number of Drops x 2.5 = ppm Iodine
