The Formula of the Chemworld 1-STEP494 is unchanged. We use natural ingredients in the product, so certain raw materials can be anywhere from light amber to light brown at times which will turn concentrates from dark amber to light yellow between batches. The oily residue is, most likely, oil from the parts, as the formula is designed to temporarily emulsify the oil then kick it to the top for skimming. If you are washing soluble oils, they will take longer to split leaving the solution a bit more milky from the emulsion oil.
